Imagine being able to see which companies your website visitors are coming from.
Very useful, isn't it? After all, you could then go there right away and leave your business card at the reception: "You're interested - I know!". So or so similar 😉
But seriously: If your business is mainly B2B, then it is very helpful to know the names of potential corporate customers. E.g. in order to target online marketing measures more effectively.
Fortunately, there are already some software solutions on the market that promise to do just that. And we wanted to know what they can deliver.
After a bit of research, we had decided to try four market-leading solutions:
In terms of price, the software tools are quite different, also because they use very different pricing models. For a better comparison, we have simply calculated roughly that we would like to pick up 500 company leads per month:
SalesViewer's price for 500 company views is currently €299 per month. You may include up to five websites and can cancel monthly.
Snitcher's price for 300 to 500 company sightings is $99 a month. However, Snitcher does not allow you to limit leads. This means that if Snitcher delivers more than 500 leads, you will automatically be put in the higher price range for the month, which is $169 per month . On the other hand you have to pay less if Snitcher can deliver less. Now is that opaque or fair? That's debatable. In any case, Snitcher allows you to integrate an infinite number of websites and cancel the subscription monthly.
Leadfeeder, on the other hand, keeps it simple. Here, there is a free version with a maximum of 100 company sightings and a paid version for €199 per month, which promises 2,500 company sightings per year. "Only 2,500" one must say unfortunately, finally are thereby only roughly 208 Leads in the month inside. Invoicing and cancellation are annual. In return, you can also integrate an infinite number of websites with this software.
Leadinfo's price for approximately 500 enterprise leads is €259 per month for monthly billing and €199 per month for annual billing. The pricing concept here is the same as with Snitcher. If there are few leads, the costs are lower, if there are more leads, the costs increase. Unfortunately, it is uncertain how many websites can be integrated.
After we had a price overview, we wanted a performance comparison. How many website visitors would the tools actually identify? Since each software offers a free trail, this was not difficult to implement.
Via the Google Tag Manager, all software solutions were then also very quickly and easily integrated into our website and after we had set the data protection DSGVO accordingly, we could start.
We ran the software tools in parallel on our website for one week. The result was surprising: all software solutions delivered different business leads! Not to exaggerate: There were a few similarities, but on the whole the results were very different.
We were confused. Which tool was delivering the most relevant leads? We started digging and looked at each company lead in detail. In the end, we had a meaningful list of which tool was really identifying how many relevant leads in a week:
*drumroll*
SalesViewer: 14 leads
Snitcher: 43 leads
Leadfeeder: 11 leads
Leadinfo: 17 leads
This makes Snitcher our clear favorite.
Whereby, all things considered, we can say: Since each software seems to detect other companies on our website, it is probably best to use all of them at once to successfully detect each website visitor.

AI is on the rise and has already proven to be extremely useful in many different professions. Content marketing also benefits enormously from the many different AI software applications.
Content marketers in particular have been given a tool with ChatGPT and other AI models that is tailored exactly to their needs.
Finally, the most prominent AI currently available, "ChatGPT," has been trained to interact with users in natural language and engage in human-like conversations.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) therefore has a lot to offer, especially when it comes to content in the form of text. AI technologies make it possible to generate, analyze and optimize texts automatically. By using AI as a writing assistant, marketers can create high-quality content more efficiently and quickly.
Overall, AI offers a wide range of possibilities in the area of text content. From automatic content generation to text analytics and optimization, AI can help you create high-quality, targeted content. By using AI, marketers can increase efficiency, save time, and improve their content strategy.
In the meantime, a whole market has already developed around AI as a "writing assistant". Besides the original AI models such as Chat GPT or Google's Bard, there are also some "AI Content Marketing Tools" that use Artificial Intelligence to pursue a specific purpose.
One of the main applications of AI in the text domain is the automatic generation of content. Using machine learning algorithms, AI can analyze large amounts of data and generate new texts from it. This is particularly useful when it comes to creating personalized content for different audiences. The AI can analyze users' preferences and interests and generate tailored texts based on them.
So let's first look at tools that specialize in generating texts for specific target groups. In this article, we refer to such software applications as "prompt catalogs".
A prompt is an instruction or input given to an AI model like ChatGPT to generate a specific response or output. It is the text that is presented to the model to get a desired response.
Usually, as a content marketer yourself, you know what is desired in terms of different content forms. Writing a prompt for an engaging blog post, social media post, newsletter entry, etc.? No problem. But still a bit time-consuming. Sometimes even so time-consuming that you could have written the text yourself more quickly.
For this reason, there are AI content generators that take care of the prompts via so-called "AI templates".
The AI Content Marketing Tool Frase is a vivid example of this. For example, if you want to create a social media ad according to the AIDA model (attention - interest - desire - action), the platform offers a practical template for this.
Let's try it out. There are four input fields to choose from to customize a social media ad. "Language, Product Description, Audience and Creativity.
Now we want to create a social media ad that promotes wool socks in fancy colors. Our target audience is women and men in their 20s who are interested in fashion. We will address them in English, because we want to reach many people in different countries. And last but not least, we give the program the freedom to text as creatively as possible.
Here's what came out of the experiment:
Attention: Step up your sock game with our wool socks in fancy colors!
Interest: Made with high-quality wool, our socks are not only stylish, but they're also durable and comfortable. You won't have to sacrifice fashion for function with these socks. Plus, with a variety of colors to choose from, you can mix and match to create unique looks.
Desire: If you're a fashion-interested woman or man in your 20s, you won't want to miss out on adding these socks to your collection. They're perfect for any occasion, whether you're dressing up or down.
Action: Don't wait, order your wool socks in fancy colors today and elevate your sock game!
So, not bad at all, right? Even if the finished text is a bit too direct, it still makes you want the product.
Of course, Frase provides many other templates that conjure up specific text forms with just a few inputs. For example, "Article Writer" or even "Definition". In addition, the program can also provide inspiration for a specific topic. For this purpose, there are templates like "Blog Title Ideas" or "List of Questions".
Besides the web application Frase there are also many other tools that offer similar prompt templates. For example TextCortex or Text Wizard.
If the prompt catalogs are basically about creating content, the content optimization tools are more about optimizing text.
AI can analyze texts and suggest improvements to increase readability, comprehensibility, and relevance. This can help ensure that texts are better suited to readers' needs and thus have a greater impact.
The term SEO, or Search Engine Optimization, is also an important aspect of content marketing. Content optimization tools usually offer the possibility to optimize website text for keywords. This improves the visibility and ranking of a website in search engine results.
SEO is of crucial importance. After all, most Internet users use search engines to look for information, products or services on the Web. If a website does not appear in search results, it may not be found by potential visitors. Therefore, it is important that companies optimize their websites so that they can be recognized and indexed by search engines.
Content optimization tools use artificial intelligence to optimize a text so that it is attractive to both readers and search engines.
These tools can automatically identify relevant keywords and integrate them into the text to increase visibility in search engine results.
If you have already found out relevant keywords for your website through a keyword research (highly recommended!), then texts can also be checked for the right keyword density with such a tool.
Was the keyword included too often? Or too rarely? Which additional keywords should be included in the text to cover the topic in full?
With all these issues, a content optimization tool can help and make the life of any content marketer easier.
Also, such software programs help to optimize the structure and formatting of the content so that readability and usability are improved.
So overall, we give it a thumbs up!
If you are curious now, feel free to try one of the following content optimization tools. Surely there are several more, but we found the following tools very helpful:
This brings us to the end of our overview. Basically, we can summarize that AI has created a new market. Namely, a market of web applications that do everything they can to make text generation and optimization incredibly easy.
But even if AI can write fantastically, the creativity and ideas of a good content marketer are still the spice in the text soup.

As technology continues to advance, experts in the industry are constantly looking for innovative ways to improve their workflows and increase efficiency. One such way is the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI or more commonly AI) into web design processes. In this blog post, we address the question of whether AI can be used effectively for web design and report on our own experiences with the AI tool Midjourney.
At Webnique, we pride ourselves on regularly pushing the boundaries of creativity and efficiency. As part of our daily work, we often need to research or design images, graphics, and illustrations. However, these tasks can be very time-consuming, and with the advent of AI, we recognized the potential to streamline our design processes using the new technology, so we ventured a little experiment with the AI tool Midjourney.
Since pretty much everyone has heard of Midjourney or even used it themselves, we won't go into detail about how the tool works. In short, Midjourney is an AI image generator that can create virtually any image imaginable based on a given input (called a prompt). Although there are many alternatives, different tools and models, we decided to limit our experiment to Midjourney, as we consider it the most advanced tool for creative image generation.
We wanted to test Midjourney with different tasks and challenge it to create all kinds of images, from 3D renderings to illustrations to stock photography.
It quickly became apparent that AI tools like Midjourney offered promising solutions for both 3D renderings and image generation. However, our generated 3D renderings (or rather the prompts) often needed further refinement to be used in a professional context. Therefore, the 3D renderings we created were initially only suitable for visualizing and presenting ideas and concepts. Nevertheless, it is amazing that this option is available at all and that for the first visualization the need for extensive knowledge in 3D such as modeling, lighting or texturing is omitted.
The AI also surprised us with its ability to create visually appealing photos that often surpassed the quality of available stock solutions. The AI even seemed to come up with "creative ideas" that we didn't expect. For example, Midjourney interpreted the term flowers in reference to a woman as wearing a hat decorated with flowers.
Not only did we give Midjourney the freedom to develop its own interpretations of the instructions we gave it, but we also tried to get it to generate very specific images that we already had in our heads. While Midjourney excelled at 3D renderings and photo creation, our experience with AI-based illustrations and graphics designed to visualize more complex content was more mixed. We struggled to achieve the desired results, which could be attributed to factors such as limited training data or suboptimal instructions. Nevertheless, we recognize that this experiment was only a first attempt. With more prior knowledge and practice, different and better results are certainly equally possible. Therefore, we remain optimistic about the potential of AI tools to improve in these areas over time.
Despite the mixed results, we strongly believe that AI tools like Midjourney have great potential for the future of web design and design in general. By using AI, web designers can improve their workflows and spend more time on other important aspects of the design process. The ability to generate high-quality images efficiently and customized to the needs of the project allows us to focus on designing engaging user interfaces, optimizing website performance, and ensuring exceptional user experiences.
As AI tools evolve and user feedback is incorporated, they will also become better able to understand complex design requirements and deliver more accurate results. With further improvements, artificial intelligence could become a valuable partner, suggesting design solutions and layouts and even predicting user preferences based on extensive data sets.
While the integration of AI for web design is still in its infancy, our experiment with Midjourney has given us valuable insights into the potential benefits and challenges involved. As AI tools currently evolve and improve, we anticipate their inclusion in our workflows and in the broader web design industry. By leveraging AI, designers can streamline their processes, inspire creativity, and ultimately deliver unique experiences to their clients and users. The future of web design holds immense potential, and AI will certainly be a key part of that journey.
